Looking to get a jump on spring? The Gatineau–Ottawa Bicycle Show is arriving just in time.
From March 6 to 8, nearly 100 exhibitors will gather at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau.
Spring fever will certainly be in the air at the Voyager à vélo booth. The team is more determined than ever to provide services that ensure a hassle-free vacation on two wheels.
Cyclotourists who drop by can learn more about the company’s various offerings: most notably luggage transport, but also vehicle shuttling and passenger shuttle services. Information on bike rentals will also be available; their recent fleet now includes electric-assist bicycles (e-bikes).
Visiting the booth, it quickly becomes clear that “reliability” and “resourcefulness” are the hallmarks of founder Mario Belley’s team. They always have great advice to share. Each service offered is synonymous with holiday freedom and peace of mind—all that’s left for you to do is pedal and admire the scenery.
The operational reach of Voyager à vélo is vast, stretching from Niagara, Ontario, to Matane, Quebec. The route possibilities are endless! Whether you are a contemplative rider or a high-performance athlete, there are itineraries designed specifically for you. Furthermore, Voyager à vélo services can be adapted for those traveling by train.
Le Saint-Laurent à vélo
Alongside the main booth, visitors can learn about the organization Le Saint-Laurent à vélo, which showcases a magnificent 1,730-kilometre cycling route along Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and the St. Lawrence River in Quebec.

The path is dotted with historic sites and charming villages known for their microbreweries, local products, vineyards, and fine dining. Le Saint-Laurent à vélo introduces you to welcoming locals who are proud of their regions, all set against a backdrop of exceptional panoramas.
The itinerary follows two major cycling networks: the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail in Ontario and the Route Verte in Quebec. Both networks are well-marked and secure, featuring a mix of dedicated bike paths, secondary roads, and shared lanes. Cycle-friendly services and accommodations are plentiful throughout the journey.
Mario Belley, the creator of Le Saint-Laurent à vélo, is eager to meet people interested in this world-class route. His goal is to form committees dedicated to its promotion and development, creating a network of riverside residents who want to get involved. Interested parties take note!
Conference
In addition, visitors to the Bike Show can attend a presentation by Mario Belley.
He will inspire his audience with tales of travel through Ontario, specifically the Toronto and Niagara regions. These destinations have an established reputation for their numerous attractions. For instance, if you have an affinity for vineyards, you’ve come to the right place!
Spring may not have officially arrived yet, but at the Gatineau-Ottawa Bicycle Show, the spirit of great two-wheeled escapes is already in the air.
