What we collect and why
When you write or call us, we collect your name, your contact information and the details of your cycling trip (dates, locations, accommodations, number of people and pieces of luggage). We use this information solely to answer you, prepare a quote, deliver the service and invoice you.
When you browse the site, cookies collect technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited. Google Analytics measures traffic; Google Maps and Google Fonts read your IP address in order to display maps and fonts.
These measurement cookies are turned off by default. They are activated only after you consent, through the banner shown on your first visit. You may change your mind at any time using the “Manage consent” link at the bottom of every page. A full list of cookies is available in our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your information. We do not offer a newsletter, and we accept no online payments: no credit card number passes through this site.
Who we share it with
Only those who need it:
- Conceptions Web Archambault inc. — website hosting and maintenance;
- Zoho Corporation — the contact form on our “Contact us” page;
- Google LLC — website statistics, maps and fonts;
- our service partners (carriers, accommodations, bicycle suppliers), limited to the information needed to deliver your service;
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
Zoho and Google are located outside Quebec. Before entrusting them with any information, we assess the protection they provide, as the law requires.
How long we keep it
Inquiries with no follow-up: 12 months. Client files and accounting records: 7 years, as tax legislation requires. Afterwards, everything is securely destroyed.
How we protect it
HTTPS throughout the site, access limited to those who need it, strong passwords, regular updates and backups. Should an incident nevertheless occur and present a risk of serious injury, we would notify you as well as the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
We make no decisions about you based on automated processing.
Your rights
At any time, you may:
- find out what information we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
- have corrected anything that is inaccurate;
- withdraw your consent;
- receive your information in a commonly used computerized format, or ask us to transfer it elsewhere;
- request the deletion of information or the de-indexing of a link, in the cases provided for by law;
- file a complaint.
Write to info@voyageravelo.com. We respond within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (1-888-528-7741, cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (1-800-282-1376, priv.gc.ca).
Consent for a child under 14 must be given by a parent or guardian.
