While cycle tourists explore some of the most beautiful routes in Quebec and Ontario, someone has to make sure their luggage is waiting for them at their next destination. That person could be you.

This is an ideal opportunity for retirees or anyone with some free time to spare.

Voyager à vélo is currently recruiting to expand its network of cyclist luggage delivery drivers.

The territory — or should we say playground — is vast, covering a large portion of Quebec and Ontario.

Voyager à vélo is looking to strategically position its team members throughout the region.

We are seeking reliable luggage delivery partners to serve various areas, including Montreal, Montérégie, Estrie, Mauricie, Quebec City, Outaouais, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Eastern Ontario, and more.

Des cyclistes qui profitent du bon temps après une journée de vélo.

We are also recruiting people interested in providing vehicle transfer services, which involve moving cyclists’ vehicles from one location to another. Transportation back is arranged by bus or other means.

The most important tool for these jobs is… a smile!

Our clients are vacationing cyclists looking to enjoy life on two wheels. They travel through breathtaking natural landscapes, charming villages, and dream destinations.

Life is good! And that’s the environment in which Voyager à vélo team members operate.

Delivering happiness

The expression “Delivering happiness” perfectly reflects the services we provide.

With strong people skills, drivers have the opportunity to interact with cyclists eager to discover memorable places along their journey and often interested in receiving route suggestions. It’s a great opportunity to connect with friendly travelers who appreciate local advice.

Delivering luggage involves picking up cyclists’ belongings in the morning and transporting them to their next accommodation by a predetermined time.

Cycle tourists cover long distances to discover our beautiful regions, but they prefer to ride light. That’s why they leave their luggage at their accommodations.

Using their own vehicle (fuel-efficient or hybrid models are ideal), drivers typically transport up to four pieces of luggage in their trunk and deliver them to the next lodging location.

50 to 60 kilometres

Most routes involve driving approximately 50 to 60 kilometres, usually close to home, to deliver luggage at the end of the cyclists’ next stage.

For example, you might pick up luggage in Boucherville and deliver it to Sorel-Tracy for a couple cycling from Western Canada. The next day, they will continue from Sorel-Tracy to Trois-Rivières.

Your role is simply to transport their personal belongings to the next destination. Accommodations are booked in advance. Once the luggage is delivered, mission accomplished!

Assignments are typically offered three to seven days in advance.

People interested in this part-time opportunity must have a reliable vehicle in good condition and a valid driver’s licence. A friendly attitude and courteous service are also essential.

For those who enjoy driving, discovering new places, and helping passionate travellers, this is a wonderful opportunity to combine usefulness with pleasure.

Applications can be submitted directly online.
