Spring has barely settled in, yet the cycling season is already in full swing at Voyager à vélo, a company specializing in luggage transport for cycling tourists.
After a strong presence at various bike shows across Québec in recent months, the dynamic team will be attending the Passeport Tourisme event this Tuesday, May 5, at the École hôtelière de la Montérégie.
Organized by the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en tourisme, this event goes far beyond a traditional job fair. It offers an immersive experience designed to showcase careers and training opportunities in the tourism sector in a fresh and engaging way.

Mini-conferences, interactive workshops, demonstrations, and “speed job dating” sessions are all part of the program, aimed at sparking interest and possibly inspiring new vocations—all in one place.
Several tourism businesses currently recruiting will be on site.
A real cycling boom
In this context, Voyager à vélo will be meeting motivated candidates, as the 2026 season is shaping up to be especially busy. The enthusiasm seen at recent bike shows is already translating into real-world demand: cyclists are clearly eager to get back on the road earlier this year.
Bookings and service requests are on the rise, and groups have already planned routes across Montérégie, the Eastern Townships, between Montréal and Québec City, and even as far as Matane.
In short, the cycling boom is very real—and there’s no shortage of work.
Now hiring: Guest Services & Bike Maintenance Agent
To keep up with growing demand, Voyager à vélo is currently recruiting.
The company is looking for a Guest Services and Bike Maintenance Agent. The ideal candidate is positive, resourceful, enjoys working with people, and has solid knowledge of bike mechanics. Familiarity with cycle touring in the Montréal region is also an asset.

This role is essential: welcoming cycling tourists, providing personalized service, and ensuring that each rental bike is perfectly adjusted. The goal is simple—deliver a smooth and memorable experience for every client.
Voyager à vélo’s mission is clear: to allow cyclists to ride light and carefree.
Through its luggage transport, vehicle transfer, and bike rental services—including electric bikes—the company makes cycling adventures more accessible and enjoyable.
A relaxed, vacation-minded clientele
For those looking to work in a dynamic environment with a relaxed, vacation-oriented clientele, the Passeport Tourisme event is a great opportunity to explore available positions.
Interested candidates are invited to visit the École hôtelière de la Montérégie (4100 chemin de la Savane, Longueuil) at the following times:
• 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Voyager à vélo team will be on site to meet candidates, present available positions, and—who knows—recruit new enthusiasts ready to join the adventure.
